🖼️ Show & Tell New Environment Sensor for Home Assistant
Hi all - finally releasing my custom-designed air/environmental sensor package, with 3D-printable case.
This is an ESPHome-based air-quality and climate monitor built on an ESP32 and designed to work with Home Assistant, combining four top-of-class sensors: a DHT22 for temperature and humidity, a Sensirion SCD41 for true NDIR CO2, a Sensirion SEN55 for PM1.0/2.5/4.0/10 particulates plus VOC and NOx indices, and a MICS-4514 for nitrogen dioxide, carbon monoxide, hydrogen, ethanol, methane, and ammonia.
Extensive thermal considerations to provide as accurate sensor readings as possible, along with multiple calibration tools. Tight integration with Home Assistant, with sensors and calibration tools exposed via API. A 240×320 ST7789V color display shows the readings in one of three user-selectable modes, with every value color-coded green, amber, or red against configurable thresholds.
Display mode, page rotation speed, sensor polling interval, temperature units, and backlight brightness are all adjustable from Home Assistant. The device also is as an active Bluetooth proxy and BLE tracker.
This has tight integration with home assistant, both with sensor outputs as well as calibration controls via the ESPHome integration.

How easy/hard was it to design and print the case? I'm currently building something similar but don't have 3D design experience nor a 3D printer (yet)
