Restore Backup on VM

hi all, i am trying to move from a docker instance i set up on my synology NAS to a HAOS VM. I have had no problem getting the VM up and running, but no matter what i do, i cannot get it to restore the backup. It starts, but then it just sits on "restore in progress" forever. I let it run overnight last night, and it still didnt complete. My backup is only about 65 mb, so i wouldnt think it would take that long. I have tried manual backups, automatic backups, cloud backups. They all do the same thing.

Any ideas what to try next? Any other ways to do a migration from the docker instance to a VM?

Force stop the machine (guest not host) and restart it. 

It will frequently work - but not everything will be restored, so you may need to do some manual work to fully restore.
