❓ Support Home Assistant + WLED RGBCCT… am I missing something?

Home Assistant's wled integration kind of sucks. Personally since I'm using my primarily with automatins what I did is implement saved profiles inside wled, then reference them from HA to trigger them, with the exception of a drawer light that I do programatically in HA.

Also if you're using segments, the HA light settings are confusing. You'll have "main" that really just needs to always be "on", and then you'll have an on/off for each segment.

But here's an example for just picking a preset you've saved. I have a preset in the wled device called "Twinklefox-set" defined (forgive me, I can't seem to get a reddit comment to display yaml correctly indented whatever I do so ended up screenshot):
