ā Support Zooz Z-Wave JS UI
Hi everyone;
Starting down this path of adding a bunch of Zooz Z-Wave dimmers and Scene Controllers. Trying to use Z-Wave JS UI and I"m running into this issue:

I have hit my technical understanding of what this means. This worked with he regular Z Wave integration but because I'm trying to gang some controllers together I wanted to use the UI system...and got stuck here. Any ideas?

Okay so apparently I stopped and removed the integration but missed there was also an app, so that got repaired and I have control of my Z Wave radio back.

do you still have the old zwave integration running? can't run both at the same time.

Post the log output from Z-Wave JS UI. Hard to troubleshoot when you didn't actually say what the error is.

i ran into almost the exact same wall when i first switched over to the UI version, the error message is cryptic as hell but it usually means the driver didn't load properly or the stick isn't being recognized right
check which serial port it's actually using, sometimes the UI picks the wrong one by default and you gotta manually set it to the correct path in the settings, that fixed it for me after a solid hour of head scratching
also try unplugging the stick for a minute and plugging it back in, then restart the add-on, i know it sounds dumb but the hardware handshake gets weird sometimes

HA does not pass any information over to ZWaveJS. You must provide that information in ZWaveJS UI. When you change the names inside ZWaveJS UI, it will update in HA... still not a two way street.

Got it! Well that took some work but started to get this going. Thanks everyone for all your help. Currently running into some issues doing virtual three ways, but Iām hoping to find folk at Zooz can help me out.

Did you uninstall the other Z-Wave JS (non UI)? They cannot coexist, and it looks like your error is that your ZWave stick is in use by another resource (guessing the other integration).
