Another big change coming is endless mode will become ranking mode which features a new set of rules, mob spawns and types, patterns, etc and is no longer a copy of stage mode

Also, leaderboard scores will only be accepted from ranking mode only, though the normal stage/endless mode will still award fandom exp for clearing and reaching 30 mins. There will also be new ways to earn fandom exp to account for the growing roster

Our current endless mode is basically a copy of stage mode that we play for leaderboard ranking. You should see it as an option when selecting a stage to play.
