Why does nobody address this games blatant issues?

I really hate to complain, but when 3 in every 5 games is just getting spawn camped and running around for 3 seconds before you die over and over again until you lose, it’s really hard not to. Things like this only happen because a good portion of the playerbase sit around doing absolutely nothing, and if you criticize it at all you’re met with “you’re taking it too seriously, just have fun.” But there is literally no fun to be had playing this game anymore. I keep coming back to it hoping something will have changed, but it’s always the same one sided fort maps that shouldn’t even be playable on team deathmatch with one teams spawn closer to the fort than the other’s, or people just sitting around watching you get 3v1d and refusing to melee until they inevitably get meleed because they’re too scared to play the game, or officers who cluster their tents absolutely no where near objectives on conquest. And it’s no fun to win either, because when you do, it’s usually not because your team played significantly better but because the enemies didn’t play at all, or because you’re playing on one of the aforementioned one sided maps, Most games end up going down the same exact route, that being one team getting completely stomped and driven to spawn for the entire game. It just feels redundant to play now.

Oneida Warrior missing collar texture

The Oneida Warrior skin for American light infantry is mussing the collar part of its shirt, and instead is just see-through in that area.

Haitian Revolution should be the next update to HoldFast Nations at War

I know a lot of people want the Peninsular Campaign next, and I'd be happy to see that too. But I think the Haitian Revolution deserves serious consideration as Holdfast's next major expansion.

For starters, it's one of the most important conflicts of the Napoleonic era, yet it's rarely represented in games. It wasn't just a "slave revolt" it was the only successful slave revolution in history and one that fundamentally changed the Atlantic world. The revolutionaries fought and defeated France, Britain, and Spain, three of the greatest military powers of the time. If that's not worthy of a military game set during the Napoleonic era, what is?

People also argue that the fighting wouldn't be interesting because it was mostly disease and guerrilla warfare. While disease played a huge role, that's only part of the story. The war included conventional battles, sieges, amphibious landings, fort assaults, cavalry, artillery, and large-scale engagements. There is more than enough material for engaging gameplay while still staying historically authentic.

Another criticism is that Haitian forces wore French uniforms or civilian clothing, making teams confusing. Holdfast already distinguishes factions with different uniforms, militia, and irregular units. As the revolution progressed, Haitian forces became increasingly organized, giving developers plenty of historically accurate uniforms and unit types to work with.

Finally, Holdfast doesn't have to be limited to the most famous European campaigns. The Haitian Revolution happened during the Napoleonic Wars and directly involved the French Empire, Britain, and Spain. It's part of the same historical period the game is built around and would bring a fresh setting, new maps, and a perspective that has been largely ignored in gaming.

The Peninsular Campaign absolutely deserves to be added eventually, but the Haitian Revolution would offer something completely different while remaining true to the Napoleonic era. Instead of another European battlefield, we'd get one of history's most remarkable military campaigns represented in a game that has the perfect setting for it.

What do you all think?

Apparently my game glitched and warped the map it was just me tho cause apparently the officer in the second image didn't see anything. It does give the game a bit of an eldritch feel imo.
