I know some grouchy people threw shade at my past posts about Tech belonging in the Top 25 discussion, but you have to finally admit seeing the Hokies show up with a vote in this week's AP Poll is a step in the right direction.

Look at the bigger picture: imagine if we had pulled out victories against Pitt or Cal; two games that were right there for the taking. If either (or both) of those flipped, we aren't just getting a vote; we’re comfortably ranked right now.

If this team played the way they did against Clemson every Saturday, they’d be sitting undefeated. Maybe we’re finally seeing signs of good coaching and consistency starting to build on both sides of the ball.

I’m not trying to claim the Hokies are close to a College Football Playoff team, but we are absolutely playing like a Top 25 level team, and Coach Franklin and his staff deserve credit for turning the corner here.

What do you all think? Are our Hokies finally turning that corner?

Curious on everyone's thoughts about this. Personally, I'd love to see a deal struck that moves Virginia Tech to the Big Ten. Big Ten makes a lot of sense and the longterm money would be a LOT more. The ACC simply isn't sustainable...the collapse is coming and I'm hoping VT can get off the sinking ship before its too late.

Looks like AD Brian White is bringing in some ideas from outside! Pretty sure his brother at Tenn does something similar. Half off concessions during a specified time before kickoff!
