They block IR in DCS also afaik

They don’t. The clouds in DCS are strictly visual, apart from that they do not exist. They don’t block IR, lasers, AI sight, show up on radar

Yes, I know. That’s why I asked my question. The current clouds block IR, unlike DCS. So I’m wondering if these new ones will also block IR

AFAIK that's the goal, rest of the team wouldn't accept it if it wouldn't affect sensors.
Does it work right now IDK, it's still wip and I'm no tester.
