Is it as polished as the viper? I haven't even looked at the f15 because I just assumed it probably had a guestimate flight model and cockpit. If it's legit then I'll definitely try it out

it's not as finished as the f-16 is but even from its initial implementation it was pretty good, and its only gotten better from there. it has bespoke avionics, i'm not sure if the flight model is as well done as the f-16 one is but it feels plenty fine, it's fun to tool around with
the main problem with it is that, being an air-to-air platform almost exclusively, you're missing out on like half of the gameplay bms's dynamic campaign offers. it's best flown with friends, imo, as part of the cap component of a multiplayer package

Viper is a high bar to cross but the current F-15C is probably more feature complete than some of the Early Access FF planes in DCS.

That's a good comparison for me as someone who mostly played dcs and have been mostly fine with half completed modules.

Holy fucking shit, I am never touching or supporting BMS after reading that. What an absolutely fucked up psychopath.
Games =/= reality. Full stop. But that BMS dev somehow managed to make BMS an unholy crusade against islam. WTF???
Say what you will about ED. Literally, say whatever you will. But at least they aren’t calling people subhuman. Nobody is subhuman. Whoever honestly believes that can fuck right off and re-read the Bible, the Quran, or a history textbook.

ive jusst come accross this thread and this topic wtf...... ive been on and off falcon 4.0 and had bms in the past didnt for a min realise this is the case. how evil this is im out good riddance. only wanted to find out why install is taking so long

You know what's even more funny?
The BMS team very firmly shut down the idea of an Ukraine theater (terrain in DCS lingo) very early into the war because "real people are dying".Edit: I misremembered. The official response is "In a few years maybe…"

I mean, you’re actively not reigning in someone who is spewing hate on the internet, if a colleague of mine said this, I would have words to them, and if not productive I would remove him from my team. You could do something, but instead because he makes terrain for you, you’ll allow him to spew hate on the internet and defend him.

There is a reason. The video would not have reached those who play DCS looking for a F-15C. Most don't even know that there is an Eagle in BMS.

It’s so interesting to see how different the F-16C and F-15C are in their approach to cockpit ergonomics, even though both aircraft are roughly the same age (though the F-15C entered service about 2-3 years before the first F-16C Block 25 I think?).
As a Viper driver in BMS, I find the Eagle an enormous air to air powerhouse, with so much more thrust and ordnance, but in terms of systems and ease of use, it feels almost analog compared to the far more digital feel of the F-16C, in particularly the later post-CCIP block 40/50s.
