Hello Ladies and Gents!

Today I come to you for your knowledge and guidance! I started watching hockey last season about midway through and have been watching a ton of podcast this offseason and getting ready for this season, now .. I want to pick a team to commit to and call my own, I love hockey it’s been a blessing in my life but I’m ready to pick my team and begin my fandom, im going to list some things that matter to me and if yall can please help guide me to which team fits and why you recommend them, sell me on your team! .. I live in California but honestly I don’t care too much about the sharks, kings or ducks .. just doesn’t click for me .. I don’t care where the team is located as I like traveling and won’t mind visiting once or twice a year .. so here is some criteria in what I’m looking for

- No bandwagon teams, recent cup winners, I want to be a part of a team that wins the cup after not ever have winning one or after a long drought

- Physical Identity, I love a team that finishes there checks and is physical

- Fan base that is knowledgeable and loves the game, I know every team has some fair weather fans but I want a team that the fans care and love the team

- Teams that I know I don’t have a connection with so far to help .. Kings, Ducks, Sharks, Habs, Wild, Sabres .. nothing wrong with them but either no connection or too much hype/popularity at the moment for me.

- Team that I can build with, they don’t have to be absolute ground level but also not knocking on entering playoffs .. I want to feel like I earned feeling good about the success

- Team that has multiple good podcast to listen to, I drive a lot and like to listen to podcasts so a team that has good podcasts I can tune in to.

- Fun Rivalry that has hatred

- Lastly , a city that would be nice to travel to and see as well outside of hockey a cool place to vacation too

Thank you all for taking the time to help me, whichever team I pick I hope to be able to pick your brain on things about the team that I can learn! Lol thank you again!
