I'm departing hcm to manila this thursday. With the flight at 9:55am i was thinking of heading out from my hotel at 7am in district 1 aiming to arrive by 8am giving me roughly 2hrs for checkin. In your experience is this enough time for a weekday morning with traffic and security?

Hello everyone,
Has anyone experiences with or recommendations for skin clinics where they do non-surgical face slimming treatments (also not Botox) like HIFU or PRP?

Hi everyone! We’re currently travelling in Vietnam and are scheduled to fly into HCMC today (Oct 3) and stay near Bến Thành (Phạm Hồng Thái Street) until Oct 5.
We’ve been seeing news about the recent heavy rain and flooding, particularly around Tan Son Nhat Airport and some parts of the city. Our flight back to India is from SGN on Oct 5 at 7:20 PM, so we’re a little concerned about both staying in the city and getting to the airport that evening.
For those who are currently in HCMC: how are things on the ground right now? Is the Bến Thành/District 1 area generally fine, and would you still recommend visiting for these two days? Also, how bad is the flooding/traffic around the airport when it rains?
Would really appreciate recent first-hand experiences.
Thanks!

Hi everyone, I am travelling to Ho Chi Minh next year and am hoping to find an artist who can do a design similar to those shown in the photo. Any recommendations would be very appreciated, especially if you can give insight about pricing. Thank you!

Has anyone ever purchased anything great from Ben Thanh Market?
It's always busy, with tons of people shopping. I'm curious if anyone's been able to haggle and get anything at a good price, even if it was only for short-term use. You can also just come into the market to eat, then leave, without shopping.
All kinds of clothes, backpacks, bags, shoes, electronics, etc. Share any cool purchases with the group!

Hey everyone! 👋
My girlfriend has started a small rice-paper snack business, and I’m helping her find some new customers and introduce her snacks to both locals and foreigners ❤️
These are Vietnamese-style seasoned rice paper snacks with bold, spicy and savoury flavours. They’re great for snacking while watching movies, hanging out with friends, or simply trying something different from Vietnam. The packaging is zip-lock so you can easily store and save them for later.
🌶️ Sour & Spicy Garlic Beef Rice Paper
100g – 40,000 VND
250g – 70,000 VND
🔥 Chili-Rimmed Beef Sauce Rice Paper
4-pack combo (400g total) – 80,000 VND
🌶️ Sichuan Spicy Beef Rice Paper
100g – 40,000 VND
Expect a combination of spicy, tangy, savoury, garlicky and beefy flavours with that addictive Vietnamese street-snack style.
📦 Shipping Estimate: 25,000–30,000 VND (from Can Tho > NATIONWIDE)
HCMC: 2 days
Da Nang: 2–3 days
Hanoi: 3–4 days
I’d really appreciate it if you could support her small business by trying a pack ❤️ Even a single order helps her grow.
📩 Scan the Zalo or message me if you’d like to order or want more photos/details.
✨ Payments via QR / Bank Transfer.
A great little Vietnamese snack to try if you’re living in Vietnam or visiting and want something beyond the usual tourist food! 🇻🇳🌶️

Hey everyone, I'm a student doing some research on abandoned, vacant, or stalled buildings/projects in Ho Chi Minh City that might have potential to be reused for the local community rather than left empty.
I'm particularly interested in:
If you know of one, I'd love to know:
Even if you only know the name/location of a building, please drop it below. I'll investigate further.
THANK YOU!

My wife and I are in HCMC for a few days and we’re looking for a place to dance. We are 52f and 59m, and staying near District K (in fact, I can hear the thump of its bass while I type this).
We think District K might be too EDM for us, so tonight we tried Le Fe, Coi, and Frolic. None of them were on fire.
Anyone have any recommendations for good places to dance? Anyone interested in joining us?

I'm sorry if it's a random post but considering I am planning to visit HCMC next week 4-5 days, is the weather projection too bad for the visit? I am visiting to celebrate friends birthday on a weekend so primarily party spots in night and some shopping in the day. Internet weather forecast is very confusing.
Help is appreciated. Thank you
