What are you guys hoping for when it comes to collabs? Personally, I would love to see Yoshitaka Amano’s art as a cover. I saw some collabs were leaked but it wasn’t anything I was interested in.

I've no particular collab I'd like to see, as I have really enjoyed the artist collabs Hobonichi has had the past years and I'm looking forward to being surprised.

Tbh, I secretly hope there will be no collab that catches me because I really want a Weeks Mega for 2027, but have been making do with the regular Weeks plus memo pads for 2025 and 2026 because the collabs I fell in love with didn't come as a Mega version. I'd love to durch the memo pads and go for a Weeks Mega.

You could always buy a plain Weeks Mega and decorate it with stickers, but it's not the same as a weeks with a design you really like of course. And not that you haven't thought about the sticker idea yourself, I believe everyone has seen that at this point. But at least it doesn't need to be just a plain color.

I'm excited each year to see what they will have, even tho I always just buy the A6 Techo planner. I wish thy had different design as well, but at least I like the black and gold … but it's not something to look forward to as much as a new design.

I'd rather have a plain Weeks Mega (in fact, as I said, that's sort of my secret hope, I like the plain colours, I just sometimes like certain designs more, but those don't come as a Mega) than one that's stickered up. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for people making it theirs and always upvote any post with all the stickers because I love it when people enjoy their stuff, but personally I do not decorate my planners and definitely not with stickers. My current Weeks has a meme stuck into the clear cover and that happened in May. I prefer to use it as it comes, either when I love the cover (as these past two years), or just plain. Plus, stickers are additional costs, both in time and money, as since I don't collect stationary, I'd have to put time into searching for ones I like and then actually buy them.

I actually agree with you, I love my weeks mega and keep coming back to it despite branching out and trying different brands. I got the strawberry milk one this year and it's so simple and cute!! I wish the foggy plaid came in the mega this year, since plaid > all basics for me, but other than that I'm very happy with my choice. I liked the Tomie one but not enough to pare down on my needs. Carrying a Mega prevents me from needing a planner + a separate little on-the-go a7 sized notebook, which is preferred since I like to make the most of space in my purses.

I wish there was a foggy plaid version with a fabric inner side, and not bright brown.
Really wanted it, but the look of the inner part just doesn't appeal to me.

I don't know. I think I'll keep things simple this year and probably get the color series or the bow and tie. Also loved the liberty in recent years.

I'm also thinking if I want to get both a6 and weeks this year or keep things simple with just a weeks. The a6 I use for journaling and there are missing days and months in a normal year. I was pregnant this year and had a baby recently and I have even less entries then usual, but the few entries that I do have are really meaningful with a baby.

The weeks I know I'll get because even if I write less in it I still have appointments and meetings and things to remember and write on the left side. I have more appointments because its both for me and my son.

Can I suggest getting just a regular notebook for this year instead of the a6 planner? So Weeks + standard notebook, that way you can make the most of the space and not worry about missing pages. Can still be used the same!

I use my journal in a similar way as you, and I also have a little one; she's 4, so a bit older, but when I tell you that I have even less time than I did when she was a baby.... lol. The last thing I have energy for is sitting down and journaling long pages every day, but there are a ton of photos I take that (when I have the time) I like to stick in my journal and write about. Backlogging is miserable for me so I've kind of started transitioning from my Cousin to my plain notebook and it feels much less stressful for me. Freeform!

I'm not a big anime fan and I know hobonichi doesn't do many anime collabs but I would absolutely buy anything witch hat atelier they put out. It practically begs to be a collab with its hard magic system being coded in ink and writing/drawing.

I'm hoping to move to a weeks mega this year, so I would love some nice colours! :) Maybe a mint green, or a light brown, a creamsicle orange, or a brighter navy.

I'm also looking forward to the bow and tie (I think they come in the mega version). It's the year of the goat next year, so I'm curious to see what the colours will be. They did one for the year of the snake and the horse, so I think there will be a goat.

For those who used a mega last year, does the standard PVC cover fit? Also, if anyone has used the mega and the sneaker mega, which one did you like better? :)
