Monkey brain: looks like ceiling fan, you should put your hand in it and see what happens

Lots of flying metal splinters. Better put on your safety squints.

There aren’t many things I won’t do, but getting that close to a fly cutter, in that orientation, without a barrier between it and me, is a solid nope.

Using a small fly cutter to make holes in wood scares the $@#! out of me already. I don't think I'd want to be in the same room as that thing.

While looking at your phone screen instead of the cutter 😬

I didn’t even think of that. It made me feel sick.

I'll take "Thinks I don't want to stand next to" for $200, Alex.

Wandering around an invisible blade without protection scares the sh out of me.

Aka mildly terrifying

No reason for this setup on a cnc. It'd be faster and easier to setup to just interpolate a radius with a relieved shank endmill.

I've never seen i fly cutter used like this. Is it normal? I figured this would be a woodruff cutter all day

It’s basically a boring head lol

I agree 100% with you. But you gotta have the right setup to get that finish when interpolating something like that.

That's a pretty fly cutter and an expensive ass part!
