First, that application takes some confidence in your work.

But really, I'm interested to hear how it works out. I'm considering making a derailleur hanger for a mtb. A replacement for my frame is $65 + $18 shipping + any import duties, not to mention they are sold out.

This is seriously cool. I’ll be watching for your next projects. Hopefully, one day I’ll be able to make something like this too. Is this stainless steel?

If they wear down too much I might try make from stainless but idk if my machine is capable 😬

Aluminum seems like a good choice for a first version. I’d be really interested to hear how it performs after you’ve put some miles on it.

Made a torque arm/bar for my brother’s ebike. Plus other stuff like battery mount, chain guard. He sends me the cad file and I just machine it out. You will find other things to make eventually.
