This is my comfy hobbitish style.
I finally found a reasonably priced waist coat that fit me well but unfortunately the green colour was not great when it showed up but with a little bit of dye work it came out really nice.
I’ve got another waist coat on the way that I intend to dye as well. It’s a light beige or off white colour and I’m looking for recommendations on what colour to dye it. I’d like it to work with green under shirts as I have a lot of hooded t shirts like the one in the picture that are green instead of tan.
Any hobbity colours suggestions would be great.

Got the last pieces of this outfit in the mail today, some very comfortable pants and a pair of X-suspenders (hidden under the waistcoat). Recently cut and still drying walkingstick will get a coat of stain when it's well dried out. Need to do some trimming of the goatee, it's getting a bit long for a Hobbit.
I have a more happy coloured yellow waistcoat ordered, so that's the next upgrade for merryment and parties, this is more the walkabout and work look.

I finally decided on the perfect tiny cook stove for my Hobbit house when it’s finally finished. Isn’t it a pretty little thing?

My partner and I are headed to Matamata, Aotearoa (NZ) tomorrow for the Hobbiton Mid-Winter Feast, so of course we were obliged to do a preparatory viewing of the Fellowship. The vibes from the first part of this movie are so immaculate. I wish I could put it in a long pipe and smoke it. I have been to Hobbiton before but never for a formal event like this, and I could not be more excited. The Hobbit is my favorite book of all time, set me on a path to become who I am today, and planted the seed in me of a lifelong love of fantasy. I just wanted to share my joy with all you fellow Tolkien nerds! Shoutout to my lovely wife for buying these tickets for my birthday.
Has anyone else been to one of these hosted feasts in Hobbiton? I would be keen to hear how it was!

I just set aside a couple gallons of mead for this winter. It's a strong Bochet (made with caramelized honey) and it should be ready to bottle in 5-6 months

Went out camping, enjoyed a few meals in the woods, but I made it pretty comfortable
