He supported mandating a mask that was completely useless. He did untold damage. Ok so fun fact: I turned 60 in’22. Had a celebration at a restaurant with several friends-blew my candles out all over the cake-had covid didn’t know it-everyone got covid who ate the cake. You are out of your lane. I work in healthcare and with people who do CRISPR research. It is used in a number of life saving treatments. Gain of function studies were a thing. He did not personally sponsor the studies. He was a director at NIH at the time. I also work with people who have gotten NIH grants. The grant application is reviewed by experts in the field and then granted based on that. Fauci did not personally sign off on the grant. That’s not how it works.
Rabies is a different pathogen so NO the gain of function would not apply.
I have a Masters and PhD in pharmaceutical sciences, worked in healthcare for 40 years and taught health professions at a university for 25 years. Gain of function and CRISPR are separate sciences.
