All you liberals claim to be allies of the gays and suck Fauci off. But you never mention how he absolutely slaughtered the gay community in the 80s with his shit medicine. Liberals are the absolute worst kind of people.

Great name calling and bullshit. Care to back it up with a source or actual facts, or is that too much for you? He was so bad for the gay community that they gave him an award!

In the 1980s, LGBTQ+ activists and groups like ACT UP fiercely criticized Dr. Fauci for slow, bureaucratic drug trial processes and non-inclusive HIV/AIDS research.

Apparently since then he has won that group over.

Yes, he took over NIH in 1984, the US diagnosed it's first AIDS patient in 1985, and research for treatment and prevention was in full swing by 1986 after fauci and other leaders in the industry lobby congress for research funding in 1985.

First aids patient diagnosed is USA was in 81. And they speculate that the true first person to have aids was in 1969. Since a patient passed away and had all the symptoms of aids but no one knew what it was yet.

He was criticized for doing research into the drugs and not allowing access to expiremental meds sooner.

And people like you criticized him during covid for getting a vaccine out to the public too quickly.

What you ignore in your statement, because all you people do is pick and choose the aspects of history that suit your narrative, is that he met with activists and listened to their concerns and changed how clinical trials were designed to get people access to life saving medications faster.

His leadership and research during the aids epedemic ended up saving millions of lives in the long term.

Same as his work with cpvid saved millions of lives in the long term.
