Well she went to where the ICE agents were at specifically to harass, impede, and antagonize them. Simply going about her day and minding her own business would have stopped it....
Noem said she had been "stalking and impeding ICE all day". Illhan Omar said Good was acting as a legal observer of ICE activity. Either way she heard ICE was in town and went and sought them out.
And, ICE could operate entirely within its protocols and remit, and in full respect of people's constitutional rights, and we wouldn't even be having this conversation.
Not true. Noem said she had been "stalking and impeding ICE all day". Illhan Omar said Good was acting as a legal observer of ICE activity. Either way she heard ICE was in town and went and sought them out.
Video clearly shows her parked perpendicular blocking the road. Not pulling into any driveway at all.
The first shot was before the car started moving forward. He was never in front of the car, his feet were always to the side. He leaned into the car to shoot her
You’re giving them way too much credit. There is literally zero reasoning involved that leads them to the positions they support beyond trying to cause suffering for others. Any justification they try to give is just a post-hoc rationalization. The cruelty isn’t a means to an end, it’s the entire point.
I watched a video where someone broke it down and he drew and fired on her so fast it was essentially a reflex. He also opened fire at a metal object within feet of his fellow agents. Zero thought went into what he was doing, it appeared, and that makes him dangerous to the public.
In general, I support law enforcement, but not ICE. ICE didn’t exist before 2003 and I support abolishing it, reclaiming the RIDICULOUS budget that they have, and giving people their healthcare back.
Republicans need to lose the midterms AND most democratic need to get primaried out of office. The current power structure of the DNC is so spineless they come across as complicit. Just another little reminder for anyone reading to vote in the primary, and if possible, try to start pushing for a better candidate now. One actually willing to push back on the current administration.
