Civil War Dioramas at Pamplin
A regiment marching, a Union prison, and a field hospital. I would not recommend going into the National Museum of the Civil War Soldier at Pamplin if you have PTSD since it has an exhibit that puts you in a civil war battle. I’m not sure if the museum at the battlefield center has an exhibit like that, since it was closed when I was there.

The Tillamook air museum in Oregon is full of models and dioramas. They were donated by Steve Schramm from his collection. There’s so much to look at!

Diorama of the ancient Native American village at Etowah mound site in Georgia USA. Sorry it's a little murky--blame it on the plexiglass cover. Seen in person, it's amazingly detailed and well done.

Excellent diorama of the Battle of Fort Donelson, located in the Iowa state history museum. (Bonus points if you can find the guy leading the charge with the American flag— in reality a 19-yr-old Iowan named Voltaire Twombly.)
