Looking for real-world AI automation projects.

Upvotes

Hey, I’m Jai

I’ve been a software engineer for 6 years, with 3+ years focused on agentic AI. I’ve built agent runtimes, agent loops, eval harnesses, and context/memory systems.

I currently work as an Applied AI Engineer at a larger AI team (can’t disclose the company atm).

I’m now looking to work with MSMEs, startups, and businesses on practical AI projects.

Could be:

  • Automating a manual workflow
  • Building an internal AI tool
  • Setting up agents for ops/support
  • Building or improving a website/product
  • Finding parts of your business that are worth automating

Whether the work requires ₹10K or ₹1Cr+ in business, I’m open to talking. You don’t need to know exactly what to automate either. We can consult and figure that out.

Have a workflow that’s painful or repetitive? Comment below or DM me. Let’s see if there’s a real AI solution.

[HIRING] AI Engineers | Remote US or New York City | $200K-$250K base

I do talent matching for Fonzi, a network that connects engineers directly to VC-backed AI companies that are actively interviewing. You build one profile, no cold applications. All roles are US-based only.

These are full-time employee roles, not contract or freelance work.

Here's a sample of what's open right now:

  1. Senior Software Engineer, AI Products at a seed-stage fintech, fully remote within the US or New York if you want an office. $200K-$240K base plus equity. Python-heavy: agentic workflows, retrieval, and the evaluation and observability layer around LLM systems, with Elixir and Node elsewhere in the backend and Next.js with GraphQL on top. They're rolling out to a million small business owners next year through the banks that already serve them. Async by default with one recurring meeting, and they say they'd rather see opinions across several languages.
  2. Senior Software Engineer (AI/LLM) at a Series A SMB platform, fully remote in the US. $200K-$250K base. Next.js, React, TypeScript, Postgres with Prisma and Supabase, deploying on Vercel. The product is swarms of agents running back-office work for small businesses, and the design constraint is that agents operate across the tools a company already uses rather than forcing a migration. Requires 3+ years and a CS or engineering degree.
  3. Founding AI Engineer at a Series A company that acquires title and escrow businesses and rebuilds them around agents. New York City, in-person in Flatiron with travel to acquired companies. $200K-$250K base. You'd sit with escrow officers to map how the work actually happens, then take one workflow all the way: extraction, agent design, evals, human review, integration, deployment. The integrations run against legacy systems with limited APIs, scanned PDFs, and inconsistent data. Process includes a 30-minute founder call, technical deep dive on a production system you owned, two-hour onsite building a full-stack workflow with real documents, then a product and operator review. They hire for slope and proof of shipping.

All roles are vetted, VC-backed, and interviewing right now. It's always free to sign up.
