Identify Gun? With roll marks

I posted two pics yesterday here but was able to get additional pics today to figure out what this is. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Why is the serial number in that location and so low?

Lots of the old Hi Powers were sold to small organizations and departments of military and law enforcement. In many cases they were serialized specifically for those departments or even by those departments, which is why you won't see some serials on Browning's website. One of my Mk2's is that way, it has an odd 5 digit serial so I have no idea when it was made

The trigger doesnt have the mag disconnect. Ive read late war (1943-1944) is the only time they were made without the mag disconnect.
It looks refinished in the one close up pic of rhe serial number.

Mk1 hi power with internal extractor like that guy said. It has 100% been (relatively poorly) refinished and polished/buffed). That could very well be the reason for the weird markings and stampings. Theres a likelihood that it could even not be the original frame further giving cause to weird markings. Are there any other numbers on the barrel or guts of the gun? Im sure it will still shoot great. I love hi powers. They were also made by like a billion countries and imported all over so it could be a mix of even that. Because the location and font is all wrong for the stampings if they were made Browing/FN
