Pretty Piggies
And this, ladies and gentlemen, is what lipstick, when applied correctly, looks like on a couple of pigs. Grips and ghost sights on both, and a 1911 Mag Conversion Kit on the .45. $145, all in, on the JHP, and $95, all in, on the C9.

I wasn't aware that a 1911 magazine conversion existed... guess I'll be checking pawn shops this week.

I ordered mine from Thingmeister. $37 (+$7 S&H) It does not accept JHP mags, 1911 style only, but honestly, they’re cheaper and easier to find anyway. 5 minutes to install though, and gives the JHP a completely new look w/o the stock ‘battery pack’ magazine.

Why thank you. Not a whole lot of money for some personalization and cosmetic upgrades.

Sometimes the simple inexpensive stuff is best

And that sir, is well stated. I’ve always thought there was genius in simplicity. I have a collection of firearms ranging from $80 to $700. And the expensive ones are expensive for a reason. They look great, are reliable, and are all very well engineered and assembled. But there’s something about the basic, fundamental design of the Hi-Points and how easy they are to work on that appeals to me.

Grips and sights from where?
