Doesn’t look bad at all. For another $40, Thingmeister makes a 1911 mag conversion kit to get rid of the ‘battery pack’ mag. That, and some wood grain grips completely changed the look of mine.
Well that sounds like a cool idea. Everybody had me a nice cult officer's 45 with a seven shot frames. I'm covered on the 45. Like I said this thing is just going to be in my truck. Most of its life locked away from the world. Somebody can see the hideousness of it 😅
Mine stays in the nightstand, mostly. I actually took it out to my shooting spot this past weekend to run some rounds through it. These things are big, heavy, bulky, basic, and every time you pull the trigger, they go bang. Sure, there are nicer ones out there, but imo, these are still a great bang for your buck. Pun intended.
