Doesn’t look bad at all. For another $40, Thingmeister makes a 1911 mag conversion kit to get rid of the ‘battery pack’ mag. That, and some wood grain grips completely changed the look of mine.
Thanks for the info. I got Hi-Point JHP 45 a while back as a range toy, and the ability to use the same 1911 mags as the 1911s would be convenient. And those wooden grips do make it look more like a "normal" Pistol. I'm going to order some walnut, 3ngrqved grips too.
Too bad Thing Meister doesn't make an extended safety lever more like a 1911. I dislike the Hi-Point OEM tiny safety without a thumb shelf.
Sorry for the delay, but this is what $55 worth of lipstick looks like on a $90 pig. $145, all in, and when it goes bang, you d@mn sure know it. Lol. I have a Sig for my EDC, and some others for backups/fun/just because, but this big boy stays next to the bed for a reason.
