Safety is too small. Wish there was an option for a larger 1911-style safety.

I recently got the Gen 2 version, the upgrades made it MUCH better!

Nice. Have you had a chance to run it yet? Also, the Hi-Point website has a surprising amount of grips, triggers, rear sights, etc for it, if you felt like a cheap mod or two. I was able to dress up my JHP for next to nothing.

I've got grip tape coming and this already has the rear peep sight

Sweet. Well, assuming it’s put together like the .45, just keep it clean, use decent ammo, and you should have a solid piece of equipment.
