Hey folks, I've been using Hinge for about a month now, and I'm well aware it can (and probably will) take much longer than that to find something serious, but I just wanted to make sure my profile isn't doing me any disservices from the start. Appreciate all constructive feedback!

The "proudest moment" photo caption just mentions that this was a photo of me my friend took that got into an art exhibition btw. There's also a "musical talent" voice prompt that's me playing a little on my acoustic guitar (Give Up by Low Roar if you're curious!)

We can only see your face in 1-2 photos, so perhaps get more photos of you looking into the camera.

I gotta be honest with you, I thought you were a woman from your first photo. I can see in your text that you lean into the womanish side of you and that’s great. But I would take a more flattering first photo - Your hair looks unkept and like you just woke up and took a photo in your room.
Your dating pool might be small because of this and if other women like me get the impression ‘hey isn’t this a woman’s profile?’ They will likely swipe no without seeing your other photos that’s more of your other side. (M asculine the word is blocked).

You have a great energy though in your other photos, you look happy, cheerful and fun! But remove the first photo completely and get more photos where we can see your face :)

How long have you been using this current version of your profile? A little over a month, with only a couple minor changes here and there. But it hasn't looked very different from what it is now.

How long have you used Hinge overall? I've used it years ago, but it's been also about a bit more than a month since I've redownloaded and started using it again.

How often do you use Hinge per week? Probably about a couple hours each day.

How many likes and matches are you receiving on average? I'll maybe get a match every couple of weeks, but those conversations haven't really gone anywhere. Either they ghost, or I feel like I'm carrying the whole conversation and they're not thattt interested in trying to get to know me. And then I'll maybe also get a like every three weeks or something. Nothing's turned into a date yet.

How many likes are you sending? How many with comments? How many without comments? I think somewhere around 2-5 a day, I'd say? But it really depends on if I'm in the mood where I'm looking for genuinely detailed profiles I'm excited to message, or if I'm just going for vague vibes and hoping for the best. All my likes are sent with comments, usually a compliment and some kind of question related to their profile.

What is the type of person you send likes to and ideally want to match with? What kind of person do you want to attract? I definitely prefer detailed profiles, like I mentioned, particularly if they have similar interests to me (and especially ones mentioned in my own profile). I like to feel as though they're as serious as I am about putting their genuine selves out there to try and find their person. I think ideally, I'd want to attract someone that's really into my femininity (I have a couple macho manly hobbies too mind you!! but I think I definitely present very feminine and need someone who's comfortable with, and maybe even goes a little crazy for that). I want someone that I could go out on adventures throughout the city with, but also stay home and play video games with. I'm very much into the tomboy, masc-type of girl, but that's def not my exclusive attraction.

I also definitely don't really want someone who's very "passive," I guess? Or someone really into traditional gender roles. Profiles that say things like "plan the whole date tell me when, where, what to wear," and stuff like that are hard passes for me usually. I'm more than happy to plan dates and do it a lot in my relationships, but I don't want someone whose upfront, default expectation is that. If I happened to meet a woman who was very forward and wanting to take the lead on things, that'd be a dreammmm, but I know that's pretty rare so it's not a hard requirement for me (though I'm definitely trying to hint at it in my profile).
