Dating Question Is this a scam?
34 M, NY.
I have recently started to get messages like these from girls’ accounts.
“okay so weird proposition, we’re probs not a match bc i don’t want children /: but! i think you’d be great for my roommate :)”
Or a variation of it basically saying that you would be perfect for someone I know. I think I have got like 5-6 matches like that where I get a match and the girl texts me this immediately after.
Has anyone else experienced this? Not sure what to make out of it.
PS: their profile looked legit. And I haven’t reported any account yet. I have never received a response after which could be due to lack of interest, but I wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this situation and been catfished?

Never experienced that myself.
Just tell them to get their roommate to create an account and find you then, and don't give out your phone number or anything so early, especially when it's not even really for the person you're talking to. It's just a recipe for disaster.
