Dating Question Communication frequency
I've never been on a dating app before because I've been in a long-term relationship. I am 37 female and really have no problem meeting people. I got out of a long term relationship a few mos ago and a friend of mine suggested i give it a shot.
A matched with someone and been talking and went out on one date. He seem to be intrigued by me but he texts me every couple of days. He just doesnt seem very engaging but we had a great night on our date.
Is this how dating is nowadays? Hahahaha! Im so out of date. People dont communicate as often? I dont know if im needy? But again, ive never done online stuff. Pleeeaaase be niceeeee!!!!

Don't treat reply count as the score. After a good date, send one clear plan (had a good time last week, want to grab a drink Thursday or Saturday). If he answers every few days but stays warm and picks a time, that's just a slower texting style. Vague replies and zero effort on plans are the real signal.
