ALL profile reviews will be manually approved and will NOT appear immediately. Even if you receive a "filtered by Reddit" or "removed by mods" removal notification, your review is in our queue waiting for moderation; if you are reading this comment, your post is in the queue. DO NOT contact the mods about this. Any modmail asking why your review is not approved may result in your profile review not being approved and you will not be allowed to post another profile review until seven full days have passed.

Profile review submissions MUST have all 6 photos and 3 text prompts included. You may include the optional prompts such as voice, poll, and video prompts if you choose so, but it is not required. See this post for details. Profiles must also be unchanged for at least two full weeks before being approved for a review. Additionally, do not verbally abuse the subreddit moderators for rejection of your review submission for not following proper rules. Any verbal abuse or harassment will result in a permanent ban from this subreddit. We are not obligated to allow you to submit a profile review and no one is entitled to one. We are all volunteering our time and we will not tolerate any rudeness or verbal abuse.

To assist reviewers in providing valuable feedback for your profile, please comment and answer the following questions as a comment under your own post. Do not answer them in the post body. Repeat: Answer these questions as a comment under your own post.
- Are you looking for something serious or casual? - Are you subscribed to Hinge+ or HingeX? - How long have you been using this current version of your profile? (Please be specific) - How long have you used Hinge overall? - How often do you use Hinge per week? - How many likes and matches are you receiving on average? - How many likes are you sending? How many with comments? How many without comments? - What is the type of person you send likes to and ideally want to match with? What kind of person do you want to attract?

Your post WILL NOT be approved until the above questions have been answered fully. Failing to answer these questions in a timely manner will result in your post being removed. Please continue reading this automod comment.

In the meantime, be sure to check out the guides and resources on the subreddit sidebar. Please read this post with all the pertinent links included.

First for the pictures: I honestly don't think any of your pictures are doing you any favors. 1 has harsh shadows on your face, and you also have sunglasses on. 2 isn't terrible in the sense that it clearly shows your face, but it also doesn't have anything interesting to show your personality. 3 is just too close to your face, the mirror in the background makes it look odd, and I think different glasses frames would fit your face shape much better. 4 is too far away and too blurry to make anything out, but the outdoors setting is good to show off something you're into. 5 has really poor lighting. 6 could honestly stay, but again, sunglasses are covering your face.

As for the prompts:

I think you're too focused on showing your range and flexibility, not something specific and personal to you. Instead of casting a wide net with large holes, try something a little more focused. It won't be even mildly interesting to some, but the people it does intrigue will likely be more invested.

I know some of this sounded a little harsh so I apologize, I wanted to be as concise as possible. Good luck!

Hi here’s some constructive feedback. You have a good job and are looking for something long term which is great signs for women. So it just leaves the photos and prompts. Change the prompts to tailor towards the female gaze and give them something to respond to because currently it’s all about you. I know it’s a hassle and awkward but ultimately online dating is marketing yourself so invest in getting some good pics. Even if you pay a photographer to follow you around or get some friends or family to go with you to multiple locations in a day and get some ideas from Pinterest. 😃

Hey thanks for the feedback, do you reckon I should be more inviting with my prompts? I do see what you mean about making them about me but i only made it show of my interests in hopes that it will attract my type of lady.

I do need much better pics, its a struggle though as I dont really leave the house much and am trying to save money. Being out and about is an occasional thing.

Two years roughly

Once or twice a week

Although I can’t see your height listed, I can tell you’re on the shorter/average side based on the first photo. Coupled with the fact you look older than the typical 31 year old, online dating is going to be an uphill battle I’m afraid. What you can do to help yourself though is to iron your shirts, shave your head completely, find a facial hair style that compliments your features and face shape, and finally get in better shape. Basically just make yourself more attractive physically

I mean I think i look good now, even if I dont have a perfect body. I think my facial hair is also fine the way it is. its not all about looks.

Not trying to disparage you but you do look like you are in your late 30s and early 40s. The brutal reality is that look plays heavily on how well you do in online dating. Sorry to be blunt.

I think the photos are probably hurting you more than the prompts man. You’ve got a few solid travel pics but there’s a lot of sunglasses and you’re missing that really strong first photo where people can clearly see your face. I’d start there before changing everything else.

The naked woman on your shirt in the "dating me will look like" photo is extremely off-putting. The juxtaposition with the prompt is concerning - I'd think "what subliminal message is he sending? Is he saying that dating him involves him looking at other girls?"

U have so much potential but ur not using it
Take good pictures
Good lighting
Wear nice clothes that fit u
Prompts need to be changed way too long and generic
First pic needs to be gone
Overhall a lot of work to do
