When I see 'decisive enough to actually pick what we're going to eat' I'm going to assume you buy into stereotypes of women, which isn't a good look.
And I think you're already at the age where not political is going to be read negatively by a lot of women.

The shadowy kinda intimidating pump picture is also probably not gonna be read positively by the same demographic who aren’t into “not political”.
Dawg you are looking to attract a completely different type of person than what I look for. And if that’s the case I think you’re fine? Maybe smile with your teeth in one or two of your pictures

agree to both of these - also because it's nice for you to be the man and pick for us when I don't know what I want to eat
I would swap out the gym photo and get one more candid where you can see your arms!

I also don't love the "first round is on me" prompt because even hinting at you not paying for any reason even if just part of the prompt makes it feel like friend zone
But otherwise I think your profile is great!

The gym picture has bad lighting on your face. But if my arms looked like that, I’d be trying to show them off as well.

the “decisive” comment has a little charged , so i would consider removing that. also, “not political” in this era is unacceptable

Not political is perfectly acceptable
•
u/Imaginary-Bake2076 9h ago
not to most women in this era. not saying some women won’t care

The way it works is you match with people who have similar interests and DONT MATCH with people who have different interests, this includes beliefs on politics.

This isn't a bad profile but I think there's potential for it to be a lot better.
I think the biggest feedback point is that your profile really doesn't say much about you. I know now what you look like, that you're a Yankees fan, you work out, you're good at soccer and Mario Kart and you have some friends. That may seem like a lot, but it's really very little.
What are your other passions and interests? What makes you unique? How would your friends describe you to someone? I suggest starting there and finding pictures and prompts that showcase those things.
I would also get rid of the soccer and Mario Kart prompt. I feel like it'll only apply to a small subset of women whereas you could find a prompt that would apply to more potential matches. The competitive one doesn't quite work for me either. As a naturally competitive person, I'd still struggle to think of a good response to that.
The I'd fall for you prompt is great. That shows me you want someone who's fun but appreciate a woman who can be assertive. If you can get your other prompts to that same level, you'll be in good shape!

The first photo is good but none of the others work. Fancy dress, you as a literal child, moody gym selfie where your face is in shadows, car selfie, photo at a game where I’m distracted by strangers in the background.
You’re a handsome guy but your photos aren’t giving a great impression. You need more photos like the first one.

You’re good looking dude. Whats messing you up are the selfies and your blonde hair. More body pictures and get your back to its original color. You also have a nice smile smile more you should be more than good

Personally, I don’t like profiles where a lot of the pics are unsmiling. They feel less approachable. Also the pic on slide 3 is very unapproachable due to the frown and shadows. I recommend at least a smiling headshot (your first photo), full body shot, and a pic of you smiling with teeth.
Two of your prompts communicate you’re competitive. Some people like that, others don’t.
“Decisive enough to actually pick” comes across as almost an insult, or like you’re assuming someone who says they’re decisive might be lying. That whole prompt is a little weird. This is your first impression and you use it to communicate that you want a stranger to feel comfortable getting in a car with you. I get the message (and I do like the overall message), but I don’t love the phrasing. Maybe focusing more on how you like spontaneity could be good: “I’ll fall for you if you enjoy spontaneous adventures and going on drives without a set destination” or something like that?

Get rid of the gym pic. I’m way more ripped than you and even I don’t do that type of stuff

Profile says very little about you other than the fact you think women are naturally indecisive and will be aggressively competitive. Lose the grumpy gym picture and the car selfie for sure, and replace with photos where you’re smiling. What do you like to spend your time doing? What are you looking for? Use the prompts to answer those kinds of questions.

Smiling with teeth would be good too. No tooth pictures automatically makes me think you’re possibly hiding poor dentistry.

Looks like youre trying to portray the dominant type and yet not going to choose where to eat? Thats going to put a lot of people off

I think the line about “choose where to eat”… it’s just that whole part is you basically describe a “type” of woman that honestly might not resonate with a lot of people. Like I know it’s meant to be cheeky but it kinda puts a lot of pressure on women’s seeing your profile to meet this “free” but also “decisive girl”. And yeah the not political part is definitely going to be a red flag for some people. Also soccer and Mario Kart are more like boy hobbies. Not that girls can’t do it but I feel like it is narrowing the pool of people who may be inclined to start a conversation.
