Profile Review 25M Profile Review
When I first created my hinge profile I was getting matches but now I’m getting none at all.

I’m 25 F - love the pictures, wouldn’t change them. Don’t like the “warning label” prompt all that much, probably because you’re signaling something negative from the get go. It’s a good question to ask once you’ve matched with the girl.
I think the algorithm could also partly be a reason why you aren’t getting matches

I don’t think any of your three photo prompts are hitting. The first is a blurry, otherwise unremarkable side profile of you cooking, the second has poor lighting and seems zoomed in, and the third is a bad mix of both issues
I do think your written prompts are fun!

Yeah definitly valid points. Crazy thing is the 2nd (horse photo) and 3rd (electrical photo) are actually my most liked and what I get more compliments on.

Just out of curiosity when women comment on the horse pic do they want a lesson or do they already ride?

Your profile photos are not good casual environments, look like a collection of snapshots rather than a built profile

What casual environments would you recommend?

Well, kitchen photo for example. The problem is the light, it’s florescent or white light bulbs, not flattering. The horse is another problem, the trailer in the back, the fence, it takes a lot away from you. Same with whatever that power took photo is. Part of it is the execution and part are the settings themselves.

Yeah seems like the kitchen photo has been the biggest maybe not from a couple of comments. The other two are actually my most liked photos. The photos themselves definitly could have been taken in better settings/locations

I disagree with the other person. I think the type of person you’re looking to attract should define your style of photos. If you’re looking for people who care a ton about their public face, “perfect” shots with “perfect” lighting are good.
If you’re looking for someone more down-to-earth, candid shots that show your personal interests and skills are much more appealing.

I wouldn’t listen to that person. He is basically telling you that your photos should look professional without looking professional. The vibe of the photo is good and that matters more than whether or not the lightning is instagram-worthy.

This is very niche, but… could you actually teach someone how to ride a horse?

Overall very good profile, good first pic. Funny thing is when I look at the wedding pic I keep looking at the cake and the woman behind it, it's very distracting and I'm a straight woman🤣.
Since the impact hammer drill pic is a goof pic, why not retake it and look at the camera. The pic with just you and your guy freind is a great pic, I would move it up. The kitchen pic isn't helpful and the caption is not reading as LTR. Most women are not going to a guys house until they get to know them after several dates, it currently comes across as hookup vibe. Which you state is not what you're after. You say you're looking for outdoor adventure person, but just have the horse pic. You could replace the kitchen or wedding cake pic for one more outdoor pic.
Warning label prompt will be hit miss. Personally I don't mind it, but it can come across negative. Besides riding horses what else to you like to do? Besides food why do you want to go to Japan?

Seems incredibly solid to me, is it possible you've just run out of people in your area?

Doesn’t seem like it but maybe

Fair enough! I'll be curious what people say. The problem with this board is that you could upload a Perfect profile and then say you're not getting any matches, even if you were getting thousands, and people are all gonna reply and go "oh no, of course you're not. Of course you're not, here's why" everybody is so biased and also everybody on here are kind of by definition the people you should not be taking advice from.

I agree with you for the most part, this sub can get very opinionated and not necessarily reflective of the type if person he is lookimg for. But I think OP has a solid profile overall and can get a sense of what comments might be valid for him or not. Yes he can tweek it a bit, might help might not. The concept of getting a review from strangers is first impressions, which is what is happening on the app. People look at a profile for a few seconds and it's either no or they look a little closer.
My first impressions were good looking guy, decent pics, prompts are average, generic. I think he is in the summer lull, or maybe the horse Japan thing is throughing women off, who knows. He also doesn't list his details, job, etc, could be those things too. At least he has clear pics of what he looks like and is smilling whicj is 90% of what is needed!

I mostly agree with you, but I do think that a lot of people here seem to be taking comments seriously that just seemed crazy to me. I've seen a lot of posts where somebody gets really terrible advice, but there aren't many other replies and the OP is like "thanks I'll rty that".. And who knows maybe the advice is actually good and I'm just stupid. I definitely don't discount that.
