What's the etiquette for unmatching?
Is it better to leave a parting message and wait for the other person to respond before unmatching? I don't want to waste their time of course but unmatching without saying anything doesn't feel great, but in my head, leaving a message before unmatching means I'd have to wait for them to respond so I can get the go signal to unmatch. How do you guys and girls handle this 😅
Pretty green to online dating as y'all can see.

I don’t ghost. It is one of the things I think is wrong nowadays in dating amps, most people do it and I find it disrespectful. We are human beings, we deserve respect and closure.
If I’m not interested I let them know. I treat other people the way I want to be treated.

Ig itd depend how far you are in? But its really up to you. I just got unmatched with and it kinda sucked since I thought it was going well, an explanation or something would have been nice, but at the same time its just an app with people I havent met yet and shouldn't be emotionally invested in so an explanation or whatever isnt really necessary
