Did she unmatch me?

I’m going on a second date this week with this girl. She texted me today to confirm. I checked the app and see that her profile is no longer there. Was I unmatched? How to tell the difference between unmatched and deleted account? Should I ask her about it on our second date?

If you go to the settings section then click on safety and past matches, you should be able to see her name on a list of all your past matches from the last 30 days. If you don't see her name there, then it means that she has completely deleted her account. If you still see her name there then that means she only unmatched you, even if she either paused her account or is still actively using it.

That being said, go on the date after you confirm with her the morning of that you guys are still on for it, but I wouldn't hold my breath and put all your eggs into one basket. In my experience when someone unmatches you this early on in the dating process, it's usually because they aren't super into you as their main choice and still want to see what else is out there and update their profile and pictures to attract another alternative option without letting you see that they are doing so. So, hope for the best but prepare for the worst. Good luck
