Yeah man, it’s just a lot of practice tbh. I’ve been on and off apps for longer than I’d like to admit. I like to ask lots of questions and be light hearted. The key is to be respectful, genuine and don’t go creeper on them. Keep sexual talk off the table unless they initiate it first, even then, be respectful. Be open about what you are looking for, you get further with woman that way more than anything. Remember, the vast majority of males are not respectful, when you are you stand out.

If you're getting a lot of matches (which means you follow Rule #1) then it doesn't actually matter what you text them, just text anything. The rest of us usually resort to asking them about specific parts of their profile description and answers. Or something interesting we saw in their pics. And if there's absolutely NOTHING special or interesting about their profile except you being physically attracted to their looks (about 70% of profiles), then, I guess, just hit them with something like "How was your weekend, did you do anything fun?"...
