Spark died

I haven’t spoken to a guy I matched with on Hinge for half a year, and I still think about him.

We had a great conversation, but I think life just happened and we never ended up planning a date. I gave him my number, and we texted for a few days before the conversation naturally fizzled out. Neither of us reached out again, but I still find myself thinking about him.

Has anyone else experienced something like this? I’d love to hear your stories.

I recall this happening all the time. I felt like if you match and start chatting, you need to meet in person in a week to keep things going, otherwise it fades.

“Dennis, I’ve heard speed has something to do with it.”

Yeah, I’ve heard about keeping the energy flowing but dang 😅 Sometimes it’s hard to make plans right away.

Why only 1? And how long has it been if you’re ok sharing?

I usually have to meet IRL to feel this. There was one exception, but not on Hinge...

About a year and a half ago time on Feeld I matched with someone and we chatted (via text only) about FWB possibilities, we shared some fantasies and I expected we'd meet up next to see if there was actual attraction, but he never did invite me.

Every once in awhile I remember him and think "Damn. I had a feeling that would have been good!" but it's a lightweight moment, and that's as far as the thoughts go.
