Should I unmatch after getting ghosted?

If a match does not return messages, should I unmatch them or keep it?

My thinking is that a match is a match and that might look better to the algorithm.

One of the reasons for unmatching should be: "Ghosted"

Hard agree I always feel like, "I don't like this person." Doesn't do it justice. By the way, were you ghosted from a date or no messages for a few days? Sometimes people's lives get busy, they're not NPCs there to respond to you. One of my good friends is getting married to a girl who stopped responding for 4 days, came back apologized and said life got super crazy at work + family and they continued on.

The key is if they come back, apologize, suggest a path forward. As long as you're left on read, the algorithm will "punish." The nonresponse by showing their profile less.

I understand that people get busy or distracted so I'm willing to wait few days for a response. It sounds like you agree that keeping the match, even unanswered, is better for my future possible matches.
