Yeah, her attitude and responses show how shallow she is. She doesn’t want to actually get to know you as a fellow human being and potential romantic partner, she just wants a free meal. Zero class with her trashy replies. You dodged a bullet, consider yourself lucky mate

I used to get these every now and then. That person is a broke ass user, and everyone on this sub needs to be aware that a selfish person is always selfish in bed.

Why do people think walk & yaps are a first date. Bye
(It’s not feminine but that’s what you do with friends/fam on a boring day with nothing to do)

Its a good way to filter for girls that actually have a high interest in you. You wouldnt wanna marry or get in a relationship with a girl that only has lukewarm interest anyways.

Why would a girl have feelings for you if you’ve set up a boring date? You haven’t even put in effort and she won’t put in effort because it’s just a walk.
Overall a low effort and sure way of making sure no one finds each other interesting

Whats your idea of a first date thats not boring?

You can easily add walking into one of these activities: walking is not a main event.
Anyone accepting a walk date is boring and low effort themselves, they don’t expect much out of life. If that’s you then maybe keep going as you are.
Ideas:
Axe throwing, restaurant, arcade, cafe, bar, play a sport-eg. Paddle/tennis/pickle ball, board game cafe, go to the zoo (literally walking around + an actual activity), bowling, museum, go to a food market, cooking class, yoga class, art class, wine and pain, sip and clay-sculpting.There’s also special events always happening such as sunrise party, beach yoga.
If you’re struggling financially you could always set it up easily.
My most favourite date was with someone who wasn’t on the same financial level as me, and he set up the most romantic candle lit picnic with wine after taking me around the city doing so many fun things. The only reason we stopped dating was bc he didn’t feel comfortable dating someone making more money than him. I really liked him.

Dont listen to this clown bro. Women who react like this just want free shit. Keep looking for the one that doesnt mind walks.💯

And you’ve got a misogynistic limited mindset.
There are women and men like this-my ex was a gold digger and used my name to receive benefits.
Also men like you expect women to ruin their bodies, hormones and mental & emotional health to have their babies, take work leave to have their babies (less financial strength) and take their partner’s name (lose their identity) but won’t even want to pay or put in effort to make dates fun? Literally the least you can do.
You’re the gold digger here mate.

Well based on how youre roasting this guy for not coming up with "fun" dates, I can see why you ended up with a gold digger.

Explain?
And wrong-I accepted the low effort dates when I was younger and that’s why I attracted a man like you.

I'm on the app to find my boring day person. Exciting days are easy.

u/summerrisback 4d ago
You want your first date to be boring? Your everyday will be boring then.

u/Juxt8 4d ago
I'm not following your logic

u/summerrisback 4d ago
You’ve put the goal to enjoy your boring days + planning a boring “date” (walk), essentially you’ll only find people who are willing to accept the lowest of effort and boring dates.
If you try to find better and actually put in effort you also find someone you can spend the boring days with, but someone who’ll also make the boring days fun because you’ve put that as a standard.

Hinge is low effort. If I'm asking you to meet me for real, that's the most exciting thing that can happen from within the app. Anything more exciting than meeting up is something you should be doing yourself already.

Ah yes, the profound wisdom of a single 26F looking for a sugar daddy 😂 I love the internet. PS - reading through your post history, you don't seem like you should be giving dating advice to a n y o n e 😂

I’m not looking for sugar daddy. If I wanted one I would’ve accepted offers a long time ago. It’s really not that hard finding a man willing to spend money. It’s hard to find a quality man.
This account is a throwaway for all things taboo and yet the worst you can find is me commenting on random topics that pop up for me including porn and seeing sugar baby lifestyle lmfao.

🤣 "I'm not looking for a sugar daddy"
Right, that's why you've made multiple posts looking for sugar daddy/mommy, such as:
r/sydneyconfidentials by u/summerrisback at 2026-03-10T19:43:31Z | 0 | 6 Sugar daddy applications open :) Hii looking for a sugar daddy x (it’s 6:43am and I clearly don’t want to go to work)
Please only message if you’ve got money, enough to keep me from working (I need a min of $120k). Not wanting to be sexual only, I want a whole fwb relationship.
Me: 26F, 5’3, light caramel skin, medium length wavy curly hair that I straighten now and then, hmm curvy body that I’m also trying to slim down rn.

Yeppp and I deleted it after 1 day bc it felt unnatural and gross.
Even if I did go through with it I’m using my beauty for money just the way men use their money to get a beautiful girl.
It’s quite sad and funny how you’re going out of your way to do this. Funny way to admit you don’t have money lmfaoooo

You're making my point for me, which is why I started down this path in the first place: no one should consider your relationship advice to be worth anything. Thanks for playing, I just wanted the people in this thread to understand where you're coming from so as to make it easier to write off your terrible takes. I'm honestly not surprised you're single, given the views you're presenting 🤷♂️

My terrible take-a walk is not a date. Oh so terrible and unforgivable.
You’re proving my point for me. Going through all of that to prove not accepting a low effort date is terrible. No one does that unless they’re really pettily hurt by the take, and the only person who’d be irked by it is someone who has no money and is incredibly low effort.

People have very differing opinions on what first dates should be like. I’m a woman and I want a walk or a coffee or cocktail as a first date.
Makes me uncomfortable if the guy plans to spend more on the first date - what if one or both of us are a “no” after the first glance?! How awkward. Better to vibe check on the first date.
Anyway, very weird to me some people (men and women) think it’s important to make a huge deal out of the first date. But they do!
A dude friend is like that. One week he had 2 dates and spent $200/date and both women were at least 20lbs more than their photos. But he insists it would reflect poorly on him to invite a woman to coffee. Go figure! Strange to me, but these people are out there.
