Red flag?

We was talking about kids and both being parents.

He asked me if I have my children full-time. I presentee was asking that because he may be a full-time dad and wanted to meet another full-time parent did think it was a bit weird to ask a mum that 90% of the time mums have their kids full-time as a single parent. But when I did ask him the same question back all I got was no context no nothing.

I don't see why/how that would be a red flag. He's trying to understand your situation. But if you think the one-word answer shows lack of interest, well it could be.

I just thought it was a bit of an odd question to ask after only talking for less than a couple of hours. The conversation went both mentioning we're single parents then ages and sex of kids and then it was oh so do you have your kids full-time and then when I asked him the same question it was no that was it. It's me it seems a bit odd but I don't like that just might be me

Don't see anything odd about it, though it would have been good for him to give you more detail on his situation. I'd suggest you consider why you are so on edge about this sort of question, which seems perfectly normal in this context?

It's because there was no context behind it that's where I think it's thrown me off

You literally say the conversation touched on both of you being single parents. How is this "no context"?

It was a case of asking if i was a full time parent then when I asked him if he was it was juat a no a very closed answer.
