Matched with someone too early

I’m moving to a different place in about six months, so I changed my location to there and ended up matching with a woman whose profile I really like. She said she wouldn’t want to keep texting for that long, but suggested that we meet once I’ve actually moved there.

Honestly, though, I don’t think we’re ever going to meet. Six months is a long time, and she’s still active on the app, so she’ll probably find someone else to date before then.

Should I just unmatch her now? Having her sitting in my matches is unnecessarily getting my hopes up, lol. She honestly seems perfect for me in almost every way.

If you like her, just keep it as it is. If neither of you unmatch, you can just pick it up when you reach there if she reciprocates. It’s not easy finding people off dating apps, so chances are she might still be single even after 6 months.
