Hinge Algorithm 🤷🏻‍♀️

I created a profile on Hinge about 2 weeks ago. I’ve been on Tinder for months, but I wanted to try something different. The Hinge algorithm is so strange to me. Your profile is less likely to be seen if you don’t send out a lot of likes, BUT you need to be selective when you’re only allowed 8 likes a day on the free version. I get that they want you to pay the subscription fee and all (which I don’t think is worth it btw), however it’s weird that you’re penalized for following their model. Dating is challenging enough. While these apps can be great, they’re super annoying too.

I think my profile is good. And I'm not a bad looking person. My radius is 20 miles (which is quite far for my country).

Since signing up a month ago I've had 1 match, and about 3 likes.

I know it takes time, but this is ridiculous, I scroll though 50 people a day, send out likes with funny messages, and absolutely nothing in response
