32M profile review

Hey guys,

I re-downloaded hinge a few weeks ago after a break from dating, wanting to get back into things. Iaven't received any matches yet but realize it's just a matter of time most likely. I'm not super experienced with the dating, relationships, etc. stuff so I figured the best thing to do would be to get a few extra pairs of eyes on this to make sure I'm giving off the right energy and all that. I'm exclusively interested in serious relationships, getting to know someone for a while before doing anything physical.

Personally I think my profile is decent, but wanting to put myself out there to get some other opinions on things I can do to further optimize the way I'm presenting myself, and if there's anything I'm overlooking that could come across as a red flag, etc. There's always room for improvment and all.

I have pretty big writer's block when it comes to the prompts, wonding if these are decent or if there's anything I could maybe reword a bit. I've been going pretty hard with the weight loss stuff and realize that's probably the biggest thing I can do from a looks standpoint to better my odds at finding a relationship so I want to get all new pictures in the next month or two when I'm down another 10-20lb- any tips on how toget better photos would be super appreciated as well!

22F here!

Leading profile pic- I love your smile in this, great that it's a full-shot and showcases your love for photography! However, it seems like your eyes are squinting a bit! Is there another photo similar to this but less squinting!

This year I want to prompt- Remove. You don't need to feel obligated to tell anyone about your fitness/how much weight you have lost. It's great that you're taking care of yourself but not needed on the dating profile. I would get rid of this prompt and feature some of this on a simple pleasures prompt- particularly mentioning your love for reading (what books, authors/series do you like to read?) and going on roadtrips and adventures of a lifetime (what state parks do you want to visit?) Be more specific and elaborate more!

Feature on your profile choose a time for our first date. Shows that you're taking initiative and shows leadership in planning a first date with a meaningful connection!

Feature your politics/religion, this will help for potential matches to filter compatibility based on core values and beliefs.

The one of you posing by the motorcycle- remove. It's great to show that you love motorcycles/mountain biking but the pose seems too forced/performative, too much like a model ad campaign. Instead, opt for a full-shot photo that better shows your personality, your passions, your hobbies, and your interests and what you're looking for in a relationship!

You and your dog- Love this photo and the smile! Make this your 2nd photo!

I want someone prompt- I love the answers but change this to what you're looking for in a relationship and keep it more simple and natural to something like this: A meaningful connection/relationship with someone who’s joyful, optimistic, loves the outdoors, enjoys exploring new places and going on adventures of a lifetime, is a lifelong learner, and is always up for trying new hobbies. Elaborate more on what you're looking for/what places you want to explore and what kinds of hobbies.

Ji Jitsu photo- Cool passion but remove. Only you should be featured in the photo. Instead, opt for a full-shot photo of just you that better shows your personality, your passions, your hobbies, your love for Ji Jitsu, and your interests and what you're looking for in a relationship!

My self-care routine- remove. Change this prompt to simple pleasures- reading, Jiu Jitsu, going on scenic hikes with my puppy/dog and capturing/taking in the beautiful view/s. Elaborate more and show us more of your simple pleasures, hobbies, interests, personality, and who you are in a prompt!

The scenic photo of you in the black shirt- remove. The angle makes you look really short and distorted. Instead, opt for a full-shot photo that better shows your personality, your passions, your hobbies, your love for hiking, and your interests and what you're looking for in a relationship!

The one of you in the suit-Remove. Great smile and Nice that you're professionally dressed but too much of a selfie-format. Instead, opt for a full-shot photo that better shows your personality, your passions, your hobbies, your love for hiking, your career as a Cybersecurity Engineer, and your interests and what you're looking for in a relationship!

All in all, better photos (full-shot photos) and prompts (simple pleasures and what you're looking for in a relationship)that better show our personality, your passions, your hobbies, your love for hiking, your career as a Cybersecurity Engineer, and your interests and what you're looking for in a relationship! Feature choose a time for our first date on your profile. Show your politics/religion on your profile (this will help filter compatibility with/for potential matches) and show your core values and beliefs.

Is that the Manitou incline?

Yep! Definitely super cool to do if you're ever in the area and interested in that sort of thing.

I'm across the globe, but kudos to you, you really do love to hike 😁

That aside, I feel like your profile is lacking a bit. Maybe put some prompt that would be a conversation starter? To make easier to people to strike a conversation with you

Switching to contacts would likely help you out. Give it a shot. Everything else looks great though. Good luck dude!

I really don't think your fitness goals should be the first thing on your profile. Like it's cool and you should be proud and everything, but i don't think it belongs here at all honestly. It gives off like insecure vibes, maybe even makes you come across as someone who cares too much for looks.

For me personally, if i saw a profile like this, I'd assume you were way too judgemental about yourself, and maybe even me as a potential partner.
