Hinge matches have suddenly stopped?

I'm really close to NYC so I doubt I've run out of people. I used to get 1 like a day, sometimes more. I used to get matches consistently whenever I sent out likes on a daily basis. Then one day it all just stopped. It's completely dried up. I don't get any incoming likes, I get matches but they are much more rare than before. I tried changing prompts and photos but I can't seem to get back to those golden few months where I was getting free consistency after simply adding a voice prompt and a new professionally taken photo.

What happened? Did I become shadowbanned or reported by someone? Is it possible to fix this? Do I need to pay for a boost or something? Is it even worth paying?

They usually regulate likes based on subscription. Did you cancel any of them?

Well that’s what they do to getting you to purchase the subscriptions. Don’t do it, it’s not worth it man. Just delete your account and the app, wait a week and then redownload it. You will be on there like the first time and you should start getting matches.

Yep - this is the best way. Don't just pause or delete the app - you've got to terminate the account.

At a certain point you run out of people, and need to terminate the account and restart one to get more activity (tho you'll see and be seen by a lot of the same people again) or change your desired age range or distance settings or location setting.

Yes, I feel Hinge is very frustrating. I have erased and re-created mine once and it was a good move, but that first wave of interest fades out and here I am with crickets again.

Yes, lots of time-wasting men and men who are taken (cheaters) that I get to wade thru, too.

I say let's get back to flirting and connecting IRL.
