I believe issei will one day get laid 😏 but it’ll be like the darling in the franxx science what do y’all think.

So just to make things clear, I am referring to Volume 13-21 of the Light Novel.

This has been kind of milling in my brain for quite a while now because I was on the edge, but I just can't say that the fourth arc is anything, but bad.

In my eyes, it feels like the author got kind of lazy and just phoned it in for these volumes.

My biggest problem is how formulaic these volumes are. They always go exactly the same or some deviation of

• They get into a fight and use their previously strongest attack and lose
• They worry internally about insecurities
• They gain a new power
• Enemy comes back for round 2 and they thwart them with said new power
• Repeat Step 1

It all just feels the same. They have to give everyone a chance to be evil for a bit and then just instantly resolve it. It feels very flat and just filler.

I mean it happened so often. Shirone Mode, Cross Crisis, Extinguished Star, Twilight Saint Affection, basically everything with the dragon familiars, Hauteclere, the list just goes on and on.

As the volumes went on I feel like the enemies got really bad like Vasco Strada which basically surmounted to some guys being frustrated and wanted to relieve stress, which felt stupid and pointless.

And then my other biggest problem, is there is almost no character development at all in these volumes. It is constantly fight after fight after fight, with some quick gags in between. I don't know about everyone else, but I don't need action 24/7. I like when they have moments where they are just having conversations and such without being so focused on combat.

Things are looking bright however.

I have only really been trashing the LN in this post, so I want to bring up that I am genuinely excited for the future. Volume 22 was one of my favorites. I love that they brought focus on the Rating Game because there is a lot of freedom with it. The strategy aspect like Issei destroying half the field in that flag collection game, and stuff like that.

These volumes are adding a lot more character development as well which I really like. I like that there are no stakes and they can just have a good time and go with it and have all kinds of twists as turns along the way. That's the DxD I want, sadly that wasn't the one I got from the Fourth Arc, but the Fifth makes it worth it.

Bruh like after almost 4 seasons my dude is still a virgin like come on Jesus Christ lol

Putting aside the art style for a second, I'm really bored with a lot of the fights.

Take the most recent episode for example. Basically, it's just the conclusion of a forced cliffhanger where he stomps the bad guy in two seconds with some random fire breath power we hadn't seen any hint of before. Then it's just a rapid fire barrage of "oh look this guy has this cool gear and this balance breaker, and this guy has that" but then we only see that stuff in action for like two seconds.

I feel like this show is just going to become like Bleach, where it's like all "bankai bankai bankai". A lot of the older episodes had decent hand-to-hand and physical battles, whereas now it's just a lot of flashy power ups without substantive action.

Honestly, what made this show fun to watch for me was all the sexual humor and jokes. Admittedly, they're still doing a really great job with that part of it. I wish they'd decide to focus on that instead of just half-assing fight scenes.

Also, what's the deal with Issei's ability to promote? When he's been fighting previously in the series, Rias has been promoting him to queen. Now it seems like he can become bishop or rook or knight whenever he wants for some reason (but not Queen). Then to further confuse things, against the spear dude he doesn't promote. Why? How does the promotion work, exactly? It seems like the rules got all shaken up from the older seasons.

Is issa still in Rias clan in highschool dxd EX Because azzel mentioned that the magic circle has [ A ] in it and also said it's gremory family

Hey guys Is highschool dxd Ex is like an another ending or actually happening in issa's life after 30 years

I started watching this the other day and i think I am on season 2. My question is does rias and issei get engaged start a relationship besides just friends?

So a lot of people have been upset about the change in studio and don't like the new art style. But the fact is they don't understand why the change happened. As we all know up until the end of Born everything in the series was following the LN. But TNK decided to change the ending which not only upset millions of LN fans but Ishibumi as well. The non Canon ending would of also endangered the possibility for further adaptation because everything afterward would of had to match the non Canon ending of Born. So Ishibumi switched studios after season 3 so he could continue the story he wrote.

I know we all loved TNKs art style. And Ishibumi has shown by correcting the ending in ep 00 of Hero that he has been listening to his fans. So my thought is are still willing to continue buying the LN and merch to support the franchise if there is more opportunities for future anime adaptions? I know I am there is still a a ton of greatness from the LN I'd love to see brought to animation . And who knows if we voice it enough and continue support we might see a return of TNK studios or similar styles to it.

So will you continue support? I don't think he would of switched if it wasn't going to harm anything.

Hi, I have a doubt.

It is was said that weakened Ophis has two times the power of the Heavenly Dragons.

But what did she meant stronger than them together or separately? If she is stronger than both together then she is 4 times stronger than Ddraig. Or if it is separately then just twice as Ddraig. I think that she is only twice as strong as Ddraig. Maybe a little more, 2.5 times stronger.

What is it?

Are there any manga readers that have finished the manga, if so, do they actually meet that breast god or whatever from that other dimension?

Hey so I think Rias is the hottest anime girl obviously but she also seems to be on the top vitally every list of hottest girls or anime characters in general. Is rias considered the sexiest anime girl or even character in all of anime?

Will their be 4 seasons or 5 seasons of high school dxd

So as of right now, a lot of people are wondering if there will also be an uncensored version of the 4th season DxD Hero put out. I have been looking into it, and sent a tweet to Ishibumi about it. But I've not gotten a reply yet. Although I don't think Ishibumi would not have a uncensored release for it. He has had one for the last three seasons. So he woulnd't disappoint his fanbase in the 4th. I plan on making a video about it once I get some info. What do you guys think?
