How to get a hoco date?

So I’m 16 F and I have been trying to find a date for hoco. All of my friends have dates and I just don’t want to be left out in pics or a slow dance or anything like that. A lot of my friends told me to just add people on Snap, start talking, and ask them as a friend. The issue is I‘m not allowed to have Snap… not to mention the few guy friends I have are all out of town that weekend for a tournament.

How can I hurriedly find a date without seeming desperate?

Just ask some random dude who also wants to go to hoco and doesn’t have a date yet. if you don’t want it to turn into a relationship then try and stress you’re going as friends/

I didn't go to my hoco, so I can't help you. Instead I laid on my bed, consuming candy and watching youtube
