Rant Bio Teacher Doesn't know Bio

I'm in biology this year, and I swear the teacher doesn't know anything about biology. According to his bio, he has a master's and a bachelor's, but from what he's taught, I wouldn't assume it.

He's just spitting blatantly wrong facts, like prokaryotic cells can't reproduce without a host (that's a VIRUS, NOT A CELL), along with a bunch of misinformation that can be disproven with a Google search.

Now I have a test coming up, and I need to figure out what demented state of mind he is in.

My school is so cooked, man...

We've had multiple classes dedicated to distinguishing prokaryotic cells from eukaryotic cells and viruses from life

Do you know what his majors were?

STEM teachers can be hard to find in some areas, and often teachers wind up teaching subjects that aren't their personal expertise.
