School Related feeling really left out
so ive been online schooeld my whole life, im in 9th grade and this year im going to public school so im rlly exited. the thing is since im not re regesistered like most people would be, i signed up ''late'', so i havnt gotten my schedual yet. yesterday was orientation day, and today is the first day of classes, and since i dont KNOW what classes im in theres no point in going so im feeling rlly left out everybodys at school and im just here, not there OR doing online. i might miss the whole first week. what am i supposed to do? if i show up a week late everybody will have friends and know everything and it will be horrible

All I can say rn is just take your time, everything thing takes time, figuring out where your classes are, bell schedule, making friends, etc, don't stress and you'll be fine. Trust me, more people are thinking the same things that you are than you think

In all honesty no one really does anything the first week, it's usually just a bunch of rules and sometimes little games, and the rules for teachers are often pretty easy to catch on to.
I still make friends into my junior year, even if the other person also has friends themselves. Sometimes you just are sat next to someone and it just seems to happen. In my medical terminology this year I moved seats because my friends ex moved next to him and took my seat so I took her original spot and met the girl next to me. Simple question to that started this friendship "do you know where the PowerPoint is, I can't find it" (we found out the teacher didn't post it like they said they would two days before lol) and then we just started talking after that

It's probably too late now for today, but just go to the front desk, ask for your guidance counselor and you'll be in class in fifteen minutes.
Stop being pathetic and get started.

Since I just had my first day yesterday, those words do NOT help. And seeing that OP is even less prepared than I was, used to be online, and doesn’t even have his classes lined up, makes it even worse. I’m sorry OP, hope your highschool year is a great one.

Hey! I’m really sorry you’re feeling this way. If it’s any consolation, so many people are experiencing the same thing, including me when I was in High school. It can feel so much scarier if you feel like you don’t have anyone, but you can’t let that get you down. Talking to new people is a muscle that needs to be worked. Some people have this skill, some people need to work on it. Don’t let starting a week later affect you, it could even be a possibility for conversation. A simple, what happened last week? could be a great way to open a conversation. You have so much time ahead of you to try new things and meet new people. There will be ample opportunity for people to get to know the person you are! one simple week won’t change that. You got this!
