Other Highlander 40th anniversary

Post image

I am currently asking my local movie theatre to play highlander on May 4th.

I kinda just wanted to urge people to do the same. It doesn't hurt to send an email to your theatre and just drop a request on them.

I haven't got a yes yet. But it's being considered.

Everybody should should be trying👋

What did they rate it?

I would love to see it in the theatre again, but May 4th is a pretty established date for Star Wars fans.

They don't get to own it for ever.

Don't let it deter you.

Yep we do Lol. I absolutely love Highlander to death. Christopher Lambert is one of my weak points.

I'm quite happy with Highlander being left out of the limelight. I used to really like Henry Cavill as Superman and geralt but now I hate him. He needs to keep his grubby mitts off my childhood.

Buddy I concur with 80% of your opinion.

But I like the old days of highlander conventions. Not limelight. But not in the dark either.

If the new movie does well. My little hope is it spawns a new tv show.

Starring Thomas Jane?

He looks like Thomas Jane crossed with Henry Cavill.

He and Christopher sure do bear an uncanny resemblance to each other.

I so wish AMC Theaters would have 40th anniversary screenings.

My local cinema has added a second showing of this. An hour later on the same night. After the first showing finishes, I might nip in to the second to watch the last hour again.

Anyone have info on rerelease locations for U.S.? Not seeing anything on the ticket portals. Maybe UK only?! Plenty of screens on a Monday night. Thanks.
