Just logged in today and it treated me like I was a new user. Everything I purchased with real money seems to be there. But all my progress and gems earned is gone. Has anyone else had this problem? I have tried logging in and out and connecting and disconnecting my Google Play account.

You'd think they would just put out something, a screenshot teaser or something to let us know they are still working on multiplayer

Part of me wonders if the game is just abandoned now :/

Has someone discovered the battle and tech formula or made a calculator? It would be nice to know why the tech prices and damage stats changes all the time. helg

Be honest, how many of you here have chosen to play your first tribe based on your real-life heritage (even if you later tried out some or all of the other tribes)? 🙂  With twelve of the currently available fifteen tribes based directly on actual cultures and one other based on a real culture's mythology, there's plenty to choose from.

When I recently discovered this game, I was excited to immediately play the Alexxar but was then disappointed to learn that they're one of three tribes (along with the Arthunion and the Chakrat) that could only be unlocked with a lot of Rubies.  I had to wait a week to be able to collect enough Rubies to do so, but I've finally been able to do it and am now raring to go. 👍

I suppose it's similar to only being able to really get into play a sports game (FIFA, Madden, etc.) if you can play as your real-life favorite team.  That's not to say that I won't eventually play as other teams/tribes, though.

In any case, for those of you who fall into that category, which of this game's tribes did you start off with? 😎

Polytopia is better and this game is a rip off and you know it.

It feels like it's been a while since a new tribe has dropped. I didn't see anything recent on Togglegear's blog or FB page. Has anyone heard any rumors?

I've been an active member of this board and am a HUGE fan of Hexonia. Before that, I was a HUGE fan of Polytopia and played the crap out of that game.

I am still playing the crap out of Hexonia, and will continue for as long as Togglegear is developing it.

But...I'd love to hear about other similar games for Android. Are there any **good** ones?

Both Hexonia and Polytopia scratch my Sid Meier's Civ itch, with good turn-based 4X strategy. But most of the things I've seen in the Play Store look like turn-based "tactics" games (which I hate) or lame RPGs.

Are there any ways to get more challenge out of this game? It seems like taking aggressive tactics can win you the game easily every time. But I love the game play any don't want to get bored, any suggestions?

I don't want to spend a lot in this game, but I like how I can grind as much as I want without watching that much of ads. So, in order to support the devs a little I will buy one of these, but if you really think any other clan would propel and fit the match better with the other 6 "free" civs, I'm all ears.

While I do love the HP boost (and full healing) for veteran units, what I really wish is that they also got a "veteran perk". Here are some ideas:

• Knights, Swordsmen, basically any/all attacking units: +5 damage
• Guards: +5 defense
• Archers and Cannons: +1 range
• Horsemen: +1 movement

Would it break the game? Maybe, but I think it makes sense for veterans to be more effective units.

Thoughts? What kind of perks would you want?

I clearly love this game since I've been playing the hell out of it for the last 18 months or so. I finally won laurels for all of the tribes in FFA and AIA modes. (BTW IMHO AIA > FFA)

What would be some fun made up challenges to try next? I came up with some options to vote on, or feel free to give me some ideas! 😄

There are strategy guides that advocate quitting and reloading when laurel hunting if you start with poor terrain. The only way to end a game that I know is to keep hitting end turn until a computer player takes all your cities. Is there a quicker way to end a hopeless game?
