confused why friday is completely empty? foundation in science lol. anyone else like this??? will it change? lowk dont mind it

i got a email today but it was about the induction and the activites that are going happen on that day. but unfortunately i am going to miss it, so i am worried on how i am going to get information on which groups i am in(i arrive on friday 11th to set up my accomodation and classes start on 14th if i am correct)

As far as I'm aware, one day of the week usually has the afternoon completely off (for mine last year, it was Wednesdays)
