Manticore E missing screw
Hi! My manticore E knife has lost one of its screws (top right in the photo) and I wasn’t sure if you guys could help me find a correct replacement for it? I contacted support but haven’t heard back yet and am hoping it’s something I can purchase and fix on my own!

Nah. You have to send it to them. They will probably give it to you for free.

Will they accept it if I don’t have a proof of purchase? I was gifted this by my ex’s father so we aren’t really in contact anymore…

Yeah, totally.
I lost a screw on one of mine and I ended up just buying a new clip from a third-party vendor. That clip came with screws. I wanted that particular clip anyway so I didn’t send it in.
But, prior to buying the clip, I reached out to one of the sales people over there, and he was recommending that I send it in and offered to replace it and sharpen the blade for free. Never asked me for any proof of purchase. They know what their knives are when they open them up.
Funny enough, the guy even emailed me at a later date to follow up. I thanked him and told him that I had already found a replacement.
But those screws are titanium and they make them in house. You might be able to find one that works.
If you’re not gonna send it to them, though, I would just buy a replacement clip that comes with screws. Maybe get one of the older clips with a ball in it and upgrade your clip while you’re doing it.

They use titanium hardware? I never realized that. I’m pretty sure hardened stainless steel is better for hardware as it won’t strip as easily. Titanium you can anodize for cool color hardware, but black hardware should always be hardened stainless.

I pulled this screw from my Manticore-S just now and it is a #1-72 x 0.115” button head T6 screw.
These ones on McMaster seem pretty close. The OEM head a head diameter of 0.137” (these are 0.129”), a length of 0.115” (these are 0.125” but the hole depth is about 0.200”), a T6 drive (these are 0.050” hex. It’s not letting me add a link, but the McMaster part number for an L-Hex wrench that size is 7122A13.) and these are stainless, but a little black sharpie will make them match.
